New-look Donegal beat Roscommon in challenge match



Jim McGuinness’s second reign as Donegal manager began with a 2-12 to 2-6 challenge match win over Roscommon on Sunday at the refurbished Fr Tierney Park in Ballyshannon.

The proceeds of this Inter-County Challenge match went to North West Hospice and the Donegal County Team training fund.

McGuinness spoke to reporters after Sunday’s game.

Donegal’s first competitive match under McGuinness will be on January 3rd, when his men will take on Armagh in Mac Cumhaill Park in their opening group game of the 2024 Dr McKenna Cup.
