Local ATU Campus to benefit from funding under the Apprenticeship Expansion Programme

ATU Donegal is set to receive a significant financial boost through the Apprenticeship Expansion Programme.

Funding of up to 4.7 million euro has been made available for the promotion of apprenticeship courses, with ATU Donegal getting the biggest share of a 17 million euro fund.

The majority of the money will be spent on the Killybegs campus, where a wide range of apprenticeships are already available.

Fianna Fáil Councillor, Mícheal Naughton, says its important that trades are adequately supported.
