A Sligo Councillor is calling for the eviction ban to be reintroduced to tackle the homeless crisis that is being felt as severely in the North West than anywhere in the country.
The ban ended in March and Sinn Fein has tabled a bill in the Dáil tonight calling for it to be reintroduced.
Sligo Strandhill councillor Arthur Gibbons through his role as an elected representative has helped many families and individuals that have become homeless
