Garda management in Sligo-Leitrim have assured a meeting of the Leitrim Joint Policing Committee there are enough resources in place to carry out adequate vetting of the increased number of migrants coming to Ireland. The matter was raised by Cllr Sean McDermott, who says concerns remain at the effectiveness of the vetting process
