Two local locations are included in a Fáilte Ireland top 10 must-visit spots for swimming across the country.
The publication is encouraging swimmers to visit the locations during the Christmas period or early in the New Year.
The report has ranked Bundoran in County Donegal at number 1 and says it is an ideal spot for the seasoned sea swimmer, adding that from Rossnowlagh Beach to Tullan Strand, there’s lot to discover.
Doon Shore at Lough Key has also been included with the Failte Ireland saying that it is one of ‘Ireland’s ultimate hidden gems with tranquil waters and is unknown to many tourists.’
