The draw for the 2024 Sigerson Cup has paired ATU Sligo with St Mary’s (The Ranch) of Belfast in round 1 when the competition begins in January.
The round 1 game will be played on January 10th.
The ATU Sligo Sigerson footballers are being managed this year by Con O’Meara.
Tuesday’s draw for gaelic football’s premier men’s third level competition nationally also saw ATU Donegal, coached by Maxi Curran, handed an away trip to last year’s Sigerson finalists University of Limerick.
The holders UCC will play Ulster University in round 1.
First-round losers will play each other in round 2B – with the winners advancing to round 2A to play-off against each other.
The draw for round three will take place on January 18th.
The Sigerson Cup finals weekend will be hosted by MTU Kerry from February 13th to 18th.
