Drogheda United have announced the signing of Jack Keaney from UCD.
The Donegal man, who came through the ranks at Sligo Rovers and made his breakthrough into senior football at the Showgrounds, joins following UCD’s relegation to the First Division at the end of the 2023 season.
The 24-year-old captained UCD last season, and had previously confirmed he would be leaving the Students in order to pursue a career in football.
Drogheda have described Keaney’s signing as a “significant addition” to their back-line.
