Approval granted for South Donegal glamping site

Approval has been given for work to proceed on a glamping site in South Donegal.

The campsite, located on the Teelin Road in Carrick, has received planning permission after it was intially denied by Donegal County Council.

It’s thought the original application was denied because there was no footpath at the designated site.

The decision was overturned following a successful appeal by the developer.

Work will begin on the campsite next week, which will see five glamping pods installed, as well as a service building and a car park.
