There’s pressure on the Government, the Saolta Hospital Group and the HSE to fast track the planned extension to Sligo University Hospital.
The 42 medical block has been in the pipeline for many years however, it’s thought that it’s moving too slow.
Sligo County Council is to write to Health Minister regarding the issue.
