Four people have been arrested for drink driving offences across Sligo and Leitrim in the space of 24 hours.
It’s after Gardai were conducting a number of checkpoints over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
A number of people were also caught speeding in the region over the course of the weekend while there were also two arrests for drug driving offences.
Gardai are reminding people to never risk lives on the roads by driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
