A multi-agency operation saw the body of a man recovered from the water off Muckross Head on Friday morning.
Sligo-based Rescue 118 helicopter, the Killybegs Coast Guard and Bundoran RNLI were all tasked to the scene.
The man was airlifted by the Coast Guard to Sligo University Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased
