Serious concern has been raised over a lack of tourist accommodation in Manorhamilton with the expected increase in footfall from the new Greenway project.
The proposed greenway will link Sligo, Leitrim and onto Fermanagh.
While the project is still some time away from being completed, there are calls for a Masterplan of Manorhamilton to be carried out in tandem.
Leitrim County Council is to submit a funding application in a bid to get the ball rolling.
