52 people waiting on Hospital Beds in North West



The latest INMO trolley watch figures has confirmed that over 50 people were waiting on beds at the two main hospitals in the North West this morning.

 

With a reported 32 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital the facility is the second most over-crowded Hospital in the country today behind University Hospital Limerick.

 

Letterkenny University Hospital is also among the four highest hospitals with patients on trollies, 25 people are reported to be waiting in Letterkenny including 16 in the emergency department.

 

The number waiting at Sligo’s emergency department is reported to be 15.

 

The national figure for patients on trollies today stands at 405.
