An additional early morning bus was made available for Ballymote this morning to address capacity issues that were reported yesterday.
11 Students that were looking to travel to Sligo ATU were left stranded yesterday with no available on any of the buses servicing the route.
The extra bus is believed to have a capacity to carry 16 people.
The Cathaoirelach of Sligo Council Gerard Mullaney in a statement confirmed he has requested a larger bus and confirmed that it will be available after the ploughing championships conclude this week.
