Letterkenny University Hospital is the second busiest hospital in Ireland today.
According to the latest figures from the INMO, there were 37 people on trollies there this morning, with 28 of those in the Emergency Department.
Hospitals in the North West continue to appear in the top three most overcrowded facilities. Sligo University Hospital had 21 people awaiting admission this morning, making it the joint-third most overcrowded along with University Hospital Kerry.
University Hospital Limerick continues to be the busiest in the country, with 87 people waiting for a bed there.
Nationwide, today’s figures stand at 385.
