Local GAA official calls for Legal action to be taken against ‘Keyboard cowards’

The GAA club season is now in full swing and all over the country and crowds are being treated to some brilliant games in both Gaelic football and Hurling.

However the ordinary club players are being severely criticised and even abused on line in some instances.

The situation in Kerry has got so serious that

County Board chairperson Patrick O’Sullivan reiterated that the county board would consider legal action if Kingdom players or management members are defamed online.

Enda Stenson is the Chairman of Leitrim GAA, he experienced a similar situation involving Leitrim players after the summer championship defeat against New York.  He is calling for national action to be taking against what he calls keyboard cowards.
