Fine Gael Donegal County Councillor Barry Sweeney has ruled out running in the next General Election.
It follows yesterday’s decision by the Electoral Commission to leave parts of south Donegal in the Sligo/Leitrim constituency.
A six seater constituency was not allowed for the next Dáil Éireann elections while they also ruled out two three-seater constituencies
within the county.
