Gardai have confirmed to Ocean FM news that the search for a missing man in the Enniscrone area of County Sligo has been stood down following the discovery of a body over the weekend.
An extensive search was launched on Tuesday after a man visiting the area was reported missing.
Members of the Graine Uaile sub-acqua search and recovery unit as well as Civil Defence and Coastguard personnel all took part in the search operation.
The man missing man was understood to be from the Dublin area and had been holidaying in Enniscrone.
