Reward offered to find those responsible for sickening attack on dog.

The North West Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Ballina is offering a€1,000 reward for information leading to the identity of the person responsible for setting a dog on fire in Co Mayo earlier this month.

 

The dog as a mixed breed and small to medium in size died as a result of the injuries it sustained in the attack.

 

The chairperson of the Ballina branch for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is Cathy O’Hora.

 

She earlier spoke to the North West Today show about the attack.
