Bus Eireann asked to provide answers over ‘substandard service’



Bus Eireann is facing calls to attend an emergency meeting with Donegal County Councillors over the latest in the cancellations debacle.

 

Passengers wishing to travel to Donegal and Fermanagh were left stranded at Dublin Airport last Friday morning with little notice given while a similar incident happened in Donegal Town yesterday morning where the service from there to the Capital was cancelled.

 

The Donegal Municipal District is to write to Bus Eireann, requesting that representatives meet with Cllrs in a bid to find a solution.

 

Cllr Michael McMahon says the fault lies with senior management at the provider, and believes that they need to wake up to the substandard service that’s currently in place for this region:
