The number of patients on trollies increases in the North West



With 31 people waiting on hospital beds Sligo University Hospital this morning, the facility was fourth most over crowded hospital in the country today.

20 of the patients were waiting in the hospital’s emergency Department.

That’s according to the latest INMO trolley watch figures.

Limerick, Cork and Galway are reporting higher figures as the national figure stands at 383.

Meanwhile there were 6 people waiting on trollies at Letterkenny University Hospital.  5 were waiting in the emergency Department.
