The local Authority in Leitrim have been asked to examine if there is the possibility of council staff assisting with the painting of the exterior of Local Authority housing.
Cllr Padraig Fallon raised the issue at this month’s meeting of the Manorhamilton MD of Leitrim County Council.
The Sinn Fein Councillor says that elderly tenants in particular are finding it difficult to paint their homes and he was looking to see if the Council were in a position to provide assistance.
