There were 62 people waiting for a bed at the North West’s two main hospitals this morning.
There were 32 waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital, while the figure was slightly lower at Sligo University Hospital, with 30 waiting there.
University Hospital Limerick was worst affected facility with 82 people on trolleys.
Nationally, today’s figures stood at 574.
