Donegal Mica campaigners warn of “tsunami of homelessness” ahead



Mica campaigners in Donegal are warning that a “tsunami of homelessness” is coming down the line unless the Government acts quick to address the accommodation problem.

The Government has agreed to finance a 2.2 billion Euro scheme to rebuild and restructure an estimated 7,500 homes which have been structurally damaged by Mica.

However under the plan, a number of home owners will have to find alternative accommodation during structural work.
