Sinn Féin remain most popular party according to latest poll



Sinn Féin remains the most popular party in the country according to the latest Red C / Sunday Business Post poll.

The poll shows Mary Lou McDonald’s party out in front on 31 per cent.

However, just 36 per cent believe the main opposition party could make serious headway on the housing crisis, if successful at the next election.

Almost half of voters believer party leader, Mary Lou McDonald, would make a good Taoiseach.

The poll also shows support for Fine Gael is also unchanged at 22 per cent, while Fianna Fáil is up one, to 16 per cent.

The Green Party have seen increase in support to 4 per cent.

The Social Democrats drop one to 5 per cent, Labour remains on 4 per cent with Solidarity/ People Before Profit and Aontú both on 2 per cent.
