Gardaí in Donegal say that they are investigating an assault that occurred in Glencolmcille, yesterday evening, at approximately 8.30pm.
A man (aged in his 20s) was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigations are ongoing at this time.
