Love Leitrim express concern on possible Government u-turn on LNG



An anti-fracking group in Leitrim have raised serious concern about a potential U-turn on fracking regulations.

 

Love Leitrim has expressed their deep worry following reports in the national media that the Green Party minister Eamon Ryan and the government are considering changing their stance on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminals.

 

There have been long held fears by communities on both sides of the Atlantic that LNG import terminals will essentially result in the importation of fracked gas from impacted American communities.
