Time to get rid of the phrase ‘Bank Holiday’ says campaigner

This Easter weekend should be used as one to finally abolish the term ‘Bank Holiday’ – that’s according to payroll specialist Padraig Boyle. He says we should not be elevating the status of banks by referring to public holidays as bank holidays
