Independent TDs in the North West are to decide on whether or not to back Sinn Féin’s legislation to extend the eviction ban.
It’s set to be debated in the Dáil this evening.
While a vote on the legislation will come before the Dáil tomorrow evening, where it is expected Government TD’s will once more vote to end the eviction ban.
Sinn Feins Martin Kenny says that while both Independent TDs representing Sligo and Leitrim voted against ending the ban last week, he remains hopeful that tomorrow they will back the party’s legislation.
