There are further calls for the provision of a board walk bridge, linking Bridge Street and Thomas Street in Sligo town.
Its thought that the move would not only accommodate pedestrian traffic but also allay some health and safety concerns in the area.
The issue is to be raised at today’s sitting of Sligo Borough Strandhill MD.
