Questions are being asked over why the Governments ‘rainy-day fund’ is not being used to progress school building projects in the North West.
Last week it was revealed that a Gaelscoil in Donegal town, a project that was shovel-ready, is one of 58 projects across the country – including more than a dozen in Donegal which have effectively stalled.
It’s said to be down to a recent decision by the Department of Education.
