Latest dissident threats condemned by Northern Ireland Assembly Member



A Sinn Féin has expressed her concern with today’s reports into dissident republican threats on the families of police officers in the north.

 

In a statement, published in the Irish News, the so-called ‘Arm na Poblachta’ group said relatives of officers are now treated as ‘legitimate targets.’

 

The threat comes just weeks after the attempted murder of detective chief inspector John Caldwell in a shooting in Omagh, Co Tyrone.

 

Belleek, based member of the Northern Ireland Assembly Jemma Dolan says the treat in causing concern in many parts of the border region.
