Calls for tighter regulations on casual trading in Leitrim



There’s calls for tighter regulations on casual trading in Leitrim.

 

Many towns and villages in the county currently have designated bays however in some instances causal trading is taking place in public car parks.

 

This is said to be causing concern among shop owners whose customers are in turn finding it difficult to park near their premises.

 

Cllr Enda McGloin says ratepayers should be prioritised and to that end, there should be a clampdown on those trading in undesignated areas:
