Plans to construct a large electricity power unit on the Diamond in Donegal have been met with local opposition.
It’s understood that the ESB is looking to construct a power cabinet that will be 8 foot high and 10 foot wide on the side.
Donegal town Mayor Pauric Kennedy spoke on North West today in relation to the issue.
He is fearful that it could be an eyesore in the heart of the town, and is appealing to the ESB to let common sense prevail:
