€1.5M has been allocated to the SLNCR greenway.
It’s part of a national allocation of over half a billion euro Ireland’s national roads and greenways in 2023.
Other key local projects include €10m to fund the 2.5KM N16 from Drumkilsellagh and Lugnagall townlands which was announced earlier this week and a further €400,000 to fund the Sligo Greenway from Charlestown to Collooney.
