A Donegal TD has sought clarification from the Taoiseach in relation to funding for Killybegs.
Recently, the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine announced almost €9 million has been awarded to Killybegs under the Fishery Harbour and Coastal Infrastructure Development Programme – something which Independent TD Thomas Pringle described as ‘nonsensical’.
Deputy Pringle believes that the majority of the money sanctioned was already flagged as far back as six years ago with announcements made shortly afterwards.
