Tánaiste pays tribute to Private Sean Rooney in Lebanon

The Minister for Defence has told Irish troops in Lebanon that the government is determined all the facts and circumstances around the attack, which led to the death of Private Sean Rooney, are fully established.

He was killed in December when the vehicle he was driving was attacked in a southern Lebanese village.

Trooper Shane Kearney was critically injured in the incident and is recovering in Ireland.
