A Sligo Councillor has called for more roads to be added to salting routes around the county.
It comes following a cold spell on Monday morning which saw a number of accidents around Sligo.
After raising the issue at the meeting of Sligo County Council, Sinn Féin Councillor Thomas Healy said that more rural roads need to be added to the salting routes as a matter of health and safety:
