A Sligo Leitrim is warning that people will die unless the crisis in hospital overcrowding is tackled.
It has led to calls for the Dail to be reconvened this week so that the Health Minister can provide answers as to how the situation is going to be tackled in the weeks ahead.
It comes as Sligo University Hospital issued a statement yesterday, confirming that four wards are now impacted by outbreaks of either Covid or flu, leading to pressure on bed availability.
