Gardai have issued a warning as it relates to a major oil spill which is affecting a large section of the N15.
It’s believed that the spill originated from Ballybofey but Gardai say that it stretches as far as Bundoran.
Gardai believe that the vehicle then travelled onto Sligo.
Donegal County Council has been informed and have been tasked to the scene.
Gardai say that the N15 is treacherous as a result and have received numerous calls from concerned members of the public.
All road users are being urged to be vigilant when travelling along the route this morning.
