Government leaders to discuss Junior ministerial appointments today

The three government leaders will meet later to discuss Junior Ministerial appointments.

All junior ministers will be appointed after tomorrow’s Cabinet meeting, with the three super-junior ministers who sit at Cabinet already having been reappointed at the weekend.

There is speculation the Taoiseach will announce a new Junior Minister with responsibility for refugees.

It remains to be seen if the Sligo Leitrim TD Frank Feighan who had held the position of Minister of State with responsibility for Public Health, will remain on as a Junior Minister.
