Fermanagh MLA claims the actions of the DUP is pushing families to the brink

A Fermanagh elected member of the Northern Ireland Assembly says the action of the DUP in not entering into government has led to the severity in the cost of living crisis increasing for many in the north.

Jemma Dolan, who represents Fermanagh and South Tyrone district, made the comments as it was confirmed that households in Northern Ireland will have to wait until January to receive their energy support payments from the UK Government.

The delivery of the 600-pounds has been stalled as the region has a different energy market from the rest of the UK – and no devolved government.

Speaking to OceanFM news the Sinn Fein MLA says the actions of the DUP is leaving many families struggling to make ends meet
