Mica campaigner calls for contingency plans to get through cold snap

A Donegal Mica redress campaigner says it’s unacceptable that those impacted by Mica in Donegal have to live in freezing conditions in the lead up to Christmas during the current artic snap.

Paddy Diver says a contingency plan should be in place for those that need emergency accommodation.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, he says while some families have been provided with alternative accommodation, others are left living in caravans in the freezing weather.

Paddy Diver has renewed his calls on the local authority in Donegal to provide emergency accommodation for more families impacted by Mica.
