Taoiseach to discuss the future of Dunkineely Health Centre with HSE



The Taoiseach has committed to discussing Dunkineely Health Centre with the HSE.

 

The centre has closed after the local GP relocated to Glenties, leaving the local community having to travel elsewhere for the service.

 

It’s also understood that other nearby practices in the likes of Killybegs, Mountcharles and Donegal Town are unable to take on new patients due to high demand.

 

Speaking in the Dail, Independent TD Thomas Pringle urged the Government to make sure the service is restored as a matter of urgency:
