Drug problem in every village & town in the country – Feighan



A Sligo Leitrim TD has reiterated that there’s a problem with drugs in every town and village in the country.

 

Junior Minister of State Frank Feighan made the comments as part of statements during a Dail motion regarding Drugs police and the decriminalisation of the user.

 

It’s anticipated that the Government will consider pushing forward the long awaited drugs strategy in the New Year.

 

Minister Feighan says it’s clear that illegal drug use is no longer confined to urban areas, and that the Government plan to tackle this through a health and education approach:
