A new proposal is on the table as it relates to the enhancement scheme for Strandhill.
It follows an assessment of a previous public consultation held earlier this year, which found that some residents would like to see improvements at Strandhill while others were opposed to any changes.
In what has been described as a “proposed compromise”, the new plans include improvements to the Shore Road and the creation additional parking spaces.
The design will result in over 40 extra car parking spaces for the area.
