Sligo senior men’s rugby team made it back-to-back wins in the Division 2B of the Energia All-Ireland League on Saturday with a 17-10 victory over bottom-of-the-table Enniscorthy at Strandhill.
Tries from Daire Byrne and Callum Goddard were key to Paddy Pearson’s side collecting the points.
The visitors, who have yet to win a league game this season, touched down for a late try with the last play of the match to ensure they head home with a losing bonus point.
Earlier in the day, members of Sligo’s 1982 Connacht Senior Cup final team were honoured at a pre-match reunion event in the clubhouse.
