A Manorhamilton Municipal District Councillor has reiterated claims that Leitrim is ahead of surrounding counties when it comes to maintaining the N16 road.
The lack of progress on the cross border route has been a cause of concern for a period of time for councillors in the north Leitrim area.
Fine Gael councillor Frank Dolan has claimed that counties including Sligo and Fermanagh aren’t pulling their weight in terms of looking after the main road from Sligo to Enniskillen.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Cllr Dolan indicated that the road was not as much of a priority for the surrounding counties as it is for Leitrim.
