The 86 people waiting on hospital beds at Sligo and Letterkenny University Hospitals are part of the national figure of 592 that has been recorded by the INMO today.
Sligo University has recorded the third highest figure in the Country today with 49 people waiting 31 of those waiting are currently in the Emergency Department.
The number in Letterkenny stands at 37. Trolley watch figures report that there are 17 waiting in the emergency Department.
The Hospitals with the highest figures today are Limerick University Hospital and Cork University Hospitals where there are 69 and 50 people waiting respectively
