A Leitrim councillor is hopeful a solution will be found in relation to proposals for a new bridge between Kinlough and Bundoran.
Leitrim councillor Justin Warnock has been telling Ocean FM News, there are four proposed routes, however, a new bridge to the east of the existing bridge would be the preferred route.
Both Leitrim and Donegal County Councils have worked on the proposals in collaboration with Roughan and O’Donovan Consulting Engineers.
A public consultation will take place on Monday between 2 and 7pm at Kinlough Community Centre to view the proposals of a new bridge.
